Coral Springs resident deployed on Navy vessel reflects what he misses most about his home

While mentioning what he misses most about his hometown of Coral Springs, Information Systems Technician 2nd Class Gary Joseph is even more grateful to contribute and serve his country.

Currently serving on her first deployment to the US Navy, she is assigned to the first-of-class aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford. Throughout his experience, he said he missed his family, friends and his favorite Hawaiian pizza from Annie’s.

The Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group (GRFCSG) is deployed in the Atlantic Ocean, conducting training and operations alongside NATO allies, fulfilling the U.S. Navy’s commitment to a peaceful, stable and secure Atlantic region. without conflict.

A 2019 graduate of Coral Glades High School, his mother and three brothers reside in Coral Springs.

“I can’t wait to get home around Christmas and New Years, reconnect with family and friends, and visit Three Friends Park to watch the sunset over the hill,” Joseph said.

He hopes to work at the White House as a technician after his service in the US Navy.
