Jill Lawson serves at EisnerAmper Digital as an interim evaluator for the company’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). She spent seven years in the Marine Corps before serving as a civilian with the Department of Defense (DOD) in various roles, including the Defense Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA ) Certified Level 3 Program Manager with DAWAI Level 2 Certification in Systems Engineering, Testing and Contracting.

Jill is responsible for developing business knowledge to identify cybersecurity requirements; Custom System Security Plan (SSP) creation and assessments, custom CMMC and NIST 800-171 policies, procedures and plans, CMMC assessment preparation, and CMMC mock assessments. She has expertise working with DOD prime contractors, DOD subcontractors, DOD vendors, and companies seeking first-time DOD contracts.

As a certified DOD Acquisition Program Manager with 20 years of experience, Jill has managed multiple DOD programs ranging from medical kits to armored ground vehicles. She served with Marine Corps Systems Command and Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology & Logistics (SOF AT&L). She also has experience creating, implementing and updating company-wide policies for SOF AT&L. She uses this experience to create enforceable business policies that meet contractual requirements.

Additionally, Jill represented SOF AT&L on several Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) task forces that shaped the CMMC program. She fully understands how to advise companies on current NIST 800-171 and emerging CMMC DOD contract requirements.

Upon retirement from SOF AT&L, Jill pursued CMMC certifications to partner with the defense industry base to meet cybersecurity requirements.
